Welcome Librarians

After over a year of negotiation, the HUCFA is please to welcome the team of academic librarians to our ranks. Today, the Ontario Labour Relations Board recognized that the HUCFA is the recognized bargaining agent for all full-time librarians employed at Huron University College in London, Ontario save and except managers, and those above the rank of managers. Due to Ontario law, this will mean that HUCFA will operate with two units until such time as we can negotiate a merger of the units, creating a single collective agreement that represents both faculty and librarian interests.
