Affiliated Universities matter in Ontario’s PSE Landscape

Yesterday, HUCFA President Thomas Peace published an op-ed in the London Free Press arguing for the relevance and importance of Ontario’s unique federated university structure. Affiliated universities like Huron provide unique and focused learning environments in programs that require small class sizes and more individualized learning pathways. Ontarians benefit from a diverse post-secondary landscape. We need government, the Council of Ontario Universities, and the leadership at Ontario’s flagship – city-sized – universities to recognize this.
